Welcome to the forum.

I got a question for you, since you think it may be the compressor that is your problem have you checked to see if you have a inlet filter that could be plugged up restricting the air to the compressor causing it to overheat and shut down ? That was what my problem was I found out after pulling out all mine and switching to coils. Check the 12th picture down in this post to see what I mean http://www.elcovaforums.com/forums/s...ad.php?t=24471 I think they started to use different filters later on but mine was all pugged up and would let the compressor run when I started the truck but then would over heat while driving and quit working till I shut it down and re-start later on.
