That helps immensely. You never cease to amaze with your knowledge. This, again, makes me wonder if anyone has found a way to reliably archive this forum. The knowledge contained here is immeasurable and it would be a huge loss if it disappeared.

Thanks very much.

Thank you...glad I could help.

I agree...hopefully the info on this site doesn't just up and disappear one day.

Finally got around to decoding my rpo codes. I sadly have the 3.73 ratio.

I've been following this with great interest too... am thinking of adding a Volant CAI and a diablosport tune to my '08 6.2. Anyone done this combo ? Reading some of the other forums re the tune, i've heard people speaking highly about it, but am wondering if there's any realworld difference ? Only thing I'd like to see is some snappier gear changes, and just maybe tighten things up a little.

I had a diablo Trinity for awhile. Definitely not worth the money. Plus they have horrible support. If you need something done to the tuner from diablo good luck. They will take months to get back to you if ever. However the custom tune I got from diablew was quite good. Not worth the price of the tuner and his fees tho. As far as the intake you won't see any improvements. Stock one is perfectly fine aside from the filter being pricy and hard to find.

Thanks a lot for the info. What did you settle for in the end if you moved away from the Diablo? Did you revert to stock?

I just found this thread and it seems quite interesting. If it helps, I have an 03 and last year re-geared to Yukon's 5:13 front and rear. I also paired it up with a Hypertech Max Programmer. I'm pushing 40's and it seems to accelerate a little better than stock in my opinion. Sometimes I get on the hwy and start climbing close to 80mph without realizing it.

What did you end up going with?
