Once again my H2 got messed with while I'm at the gym. The bastards gained entry through the passenger-side door handle. They found my wallet and took nothing else. I'd like to thank GM for saving themselves $10 in metal and giving so charitably to the poor in making such an easy vehicle to break into.

Can someone, aside from the jokes, direct me to any real solutions to this? In particular, some powder-coated black metal plates that attach over the plastic?

And don't think that I don't know that this troll "Steve R" is not who he says he is or is not, not that he ever was anything other than a troll, nor should he deny trolldome, shall he pass by my rapier without being put it his troll, or not so troll, place.

I have been working with Jimmijammer to get these constructed for the H2. There is a beta set on the way to me. Once they arrive, I will take installation photos and check fitment as these have never been installed on an H2.

If anyone lives in Pheonix area, I may need your help if I run into issues. If this is the case, there will be a free set for your troubles. Please chime in if you are in area and interested.

At least my conception didn't involve a clobbering hole in the wall in a truckstop bathroom stall.

All doppelganging aside, the chrome backing does prevent this method of theft. It is solid metal, not plastic, therefore it cannot be pried up. Those things are expensive because of the labor time to install them. It involves disassembling each door panel, removing each window, and a lot of other stuff. The part is not exactly cheap either.

Bahh....get an avatar, quit smoking and knock it off with the fake English accent!

Agreed. I just don't have anything else to add and I made peace with my would-be troll.

If I had to guess I'd figure some worthless bastard created a new screen-name and put an extra space after the letter R so the system thought it was different, someone with a lot of time on their hands and little of a life.

Paragon, you gots the skilz.....I'm sure you know who it is.

Well okay then. It's been a while and you'll have to remember I ain't no "D"....but let me it a shot:

I-Bitch, you ignorant delusional (and here comes my favorite) scrotum-sucking rectal wart, you take the cake for being the biggest Fu(ktard to read the pages of this forum. Were you delivered through someones anus into this world? Cause your head is obviously stuck up into the very same well-used cavity. Now here are some nasty faces for you:

I don't have the time, so just imagine some disgusting picture and verbal insert pasted here.

Real criminals already knew, and in the end it just saves some broken glass. They've been breaking into GM cars like this for decades...you really think that picture is gonna spawn a wave of Hummer-related crime? Shut your pie-hole and go back to fingering your prostrate.

Thanks Klaus & Phil....in a sea of Hummer uncertainty you guys are always there! </div></BLOCKQUOTE>

Cussing is not required. You should own them with a rapier wit, like I do.

Steve R,
I hope you're not in the core group or you shall be mine too. You have been warned.

I'm not going to freak, it only seems to happen at the gym. The thieves rightly figure that anyone going into the gym is likely to need their drivers license to drive to the gym...but then they won't want to take their wallet into the gym. In my case they saw me reach up into my roof/above console and put something in there. They didn't open my center console, the glove box or even take my cell phone left out: they knew exactly what and where to go. BASTARDS!!!

An alarm may stop them, but only after they smash the door piece and cause some damage. I've got a line on a direct price deal for metal replacements....it's gonna cost, but...I dunno.

Wow, you are pure comedic genius!

The spin class at Women's Workout World does not really count as a bike ride.

Yeah I don't own a Hummer. I just to buy Hummer stuff from forum members just because I'm bored and not interesting at all.

Funny? was not even trying.

You might look into maybe a dietican if you are losing muscle tissue during work-out's. Unless that's some new bodybuilding regimine or something.

I-man, we're cool, thanks

HummerMan...glad to see you're still around.

Can anyone explain who & how someone else is using my same screen-name & avatar? You can see from the post-count that this is clearly not me. I can understand the avatar copy, but the screen-name too????????

First my wallet and now my screen-name....damn!!!!

Oh yeah, hey Alec...good to hear from you to!
