Front view of MT's and Welds---Welds are 18 X 10--the 12's have offset and backspace issues--to do them right they will have to be spacers installed and the tires will stick out of the fenderwell in disproportion.

Lots of nice tires and wheels. I was hoping not to have to buy another set of wheels. I am now running 17x9" Ultra En4cer wheels without any issues with rubbing or pushing the wheel out too far to cause issues with the front end like a 12" would. You guys with 10" wheels, any issues? Sure look good. Here's a shot of mine with the MTR's on the 17x9 wheels and the 4" lift. Just too skinny for me.

Ok now that is BAD ASS!! If I do a lift that's what I'll be doing but with 38x15.5R20s. Toyo has them on 20's and Nitto will soon. I had hoped to stay with as little lift as possible but it looks like I may need a 5.5".

What width are your rims? That makes a huge difference.[/quote]

Mine are 18" X 10" rims.

Here is a shot of Procomps XTerrain 40's on a 20" Weld Evo Cheyennes.
These 20" rims with 40" tires are on an Excursion.

I really like the look of the Nitto's and the pro comps. Milage-wise, how do they compare with the MTR's? As with most folks, unfortunately more time is spent on the road than off. However, the reason we got it was to go play off road.
I noticed that some tires, like the 40x13.50/17 MTRs list wheels that can be used at between 8.5 and 11". I wish I had bought 10" and not 9".

I can't give you real data--do not think they have been out long enough for actual numbers.

I had the ProComps and can tell you they are softer and will not compete with the MTRs mileage wise. They look great and HUG the road though.

Have you decided on your tires yet?
