I tried the IAS on my Tahoe. They were great on the road, but awful offroad. Way too much rebound over uneven surfaces. <HR></BLOCKQUOTE>I don't think there is much difference between the extreme travels and the regular IAS. I think they both use the same technology except the pistons on the extreme travel are thicker and, of course, you have the extra oil.
I've had them on F250, Expedition and a Jeep and thought they tamed everything well and didn't allow for sway on the highway. Personally, I think they stop the rebound extremely well compared to anything else I've had, even Rancho 9000s.
