Ok, So I've had it for a day or so, here are my gripes, tell me if I'm missing something?

They made the arm rest open to the side and put the CD spots down there. Usually when I'm driving, my wife will change the CD's or be the one fiddeling with the center console, in our H2 She can't really get to them easily.

Second thing, where we live there is a bunch of new development. Our house is 2 years old and it's not on the DVD Navigation Disk??? So I can't plot any trips from our house..

The sales guy said the DVDs are like $250 and it's the only one compatible with our Nav system?? Is that right?

don't buy one. it's a glorified GMC Suburban. Same chasis, same motor and most of the interior components are the same. Save yourself some money and avoid the status symbol money making machine in General Motors.

yeah, you must work for GM, and be on the brink of losing your job. maybe if your company didn't manufacture such inferior products you'd still have a job. the truth hurts.

Brilliant and witty repartee. I see someone graduated from the John Gotti School of etiquette here.

And no - I don't work for GM. Considering that I don't own vehicles built by them (if you really pay attention, you'd see that!), you might reconsider pulling the 60 foot pine tree out of your ass before Drty and Dennis start to jump in. You'll find that I'm a lot nicer than they are.

Or...YOU must have been one of those lazy-overpaid-shoddy work ethic-do nothing union workers that GM finally got rid of and now has a chip on their shoulder because they got kicked off their gravy train.

Owwww...the truth hurts!

Look, there are many more vehicles that get worse fuel mileage. The real question is, will the vehicle meet your needs for what you want to do? Fuel mileage is just one of the factors one must take into account before purchasing. There is alot of disinformation on the H2 out there because of negative press from the enviro-nazis, but the truth is it gets way better mileage than my old Chev 4x4 pickup truck (9 mpg on a good day), ANY motorhome (4-7 mpg), and just about the same as any new full size pickup with a gas engine.

Its up to you in the end, not your friends.

Wasn't exactly what you expected when you came here?

By the way, you've spent all of that time editing crap the past 24 hours for no reason. All of those original pages are cached, hell, most of them can probably be seen using Google dumbass.

You, sport, are going to have some busy busy next few weeks.

Gordon:

It is amazingly funny to me that you waste so much of your own time on a forum for HUMMERS and you don't even have 1!
I think you should take a few minutes and think about the amount of time you spend here! Try to find a girlfreind or something!
Or you could continue to waste you time here and act like a bonehead!

Casey and HumGirl,

Stick around. Its kind of hot around here right now because of some trolls trying to start sh*t but you will find the people here very nice and always ready to help with info. As far as the mileage is concerned, not that big a deal. Yes it gets worse than most vehicles but it gets better than many. Its all the bad press out there. From most posts I have seen here when someone asks the mileage and they get an honest answer, they are actually surprised and assumed it would be worse. Don't let those that are jealous make you think twice about your decision.

Casey and HumGirl,

I don't have a nav system but use the hand-helds on occasion. You should be able to put your lat/long into the nav and have all trips referenced from that GPS point.

Worried about gas mileage....get the H3. Want more offroad capability, go with the H1. If you are looking for all the creature comforts, plus ability to offroad, H2 is a good choice. You don't buy something shaped like a brick for aerodynamics. I have as high as 14mpg on highway roadtrip and as low as 10.9 in the city driving with heavy traffic. I have heard of small modifications such as air filter change or a microchip can improve that number. I think the highest I read on here was 17-19 mpg, but don't have first-hand knowledge.

I was looking at other vehicles before I purchased the H2, and none of them could drive off the dealership lot (without going through alot of add-ons & heavy modification) and hit the trails except the H2. No vehicles with a spoiler can do the trails without damage. A six-banger Jeep didn't have the acceleration for highway onramps.

I have driven lots of other 4WD vehicles (including Dodge Ramcharger, Ford Bronco, Chevy Blazer, Old Jeeps, etc.). Although I had always purchased Fords in the past, I was done looking at Ford because of their poor service department here and never honoring warranty work with family and friends who drove Ford.

NEVER let any naysayers tell you what to buy because they don't approve! Most of them who come here to bash the H2 are all FUH2 members (they flip off the trucks when nobody is looking or the owner can't see them).

The main reason I know they are full of $hit is that they don't go after other vehicles (like duallies, delivery vans, Fedex & UPS, busses, semis, etc.) who have far worse mileage or use alot more gas.

They are jealous small minded folk who only hate what they will never be able to obtain in life. I think most of them are missing from a Howard Dean or George Soros seminar somewhere.

Yeah, well you'd be confused too if you'd changed so many things overnight. I'm still laughing at that. What a pussy magi115 is. Wonder what his "friends" are going to say? I know what his boss is going to say.
