I've been using the Diablosport Predator program in mine and it works great. One of the best things about it is the built in Diagnostic software. If the SES light ever comes on, just plug in the programmer and it will tell you the code. No more paying $$$$ to go to the dealer just to find out what's wrong with it (Had to do that on my other vehicle).
I don't see a problem with programming the computer. The Predator stores the stock program in the unit, so anytime you have to take it in to the dealer you just save your program/settings and upload the factory program. When I get it back, my settings/program go back in.
The Predator has a performance program with it you can upload, but if you want to play with it you can change all the settings.
I just started playing with all the settings and I love it.
If I ever mess it up, I can always load the factory program back in and start over.
