They will cover off-road repairs as long as they are withing the boundries of the trucks capabilities. i.e. You don't flood the enginer fording deeper than you should, flipping the rig while rock crawling, etc.
I've seen at least one guy bust his front diff and get it covered. Dealer really needs to prove you exceeded the capabilities to deny.
