The switch comes with the factory light kit. It will fit on the front case of the short / sunroof console. Thats where they install them at the factory.
It is a part that can be ordered. You should not be breaking the entire load of the circuit at that point. Just a relay.
If you don't know what I am talking about regarding the relay - don't attempt to do it yourself.
