Followed the harness for the license plate light then up and over the frame rails with the oem harness up to the front where there is an access grommit under the driver's side carpet. Not that hard, just took forever. I may have to pull it all back through as I want to do the spare removal kit and not sure I want to cut and splice the wires as they will be constantly exposed to dirt/moisture.

Glad to see I'm not the only one that suffered that route!
I ended up running a 1-inch flex tube from front to rear. Inside is the rear cam s-video cable, power cables for the rear winch connector and a 12v switched line (couldn't find one in the back of the truck).
I have a flew splices in the camera wiring so I hear your concerns about moisture and dirt. The splices were soldered and then sealed in shrink tube with a coat of RTV silicone around the tube edges/ends. At least I think they're sealed.

The front shifters are just below the black plastic cover with the holes in it. They are mounted to the top of the bumper and I needed to trim the swiss cheese plastic to clear them; will post a pic in next few days.
Definitely going to be driving some power hungry Zapco amps (about 4500 watts), but the oem alt is pretty sturdy @ 145 amps. I also work out of the truck quite a bit and something is always running or charging so don't want dead battery.
