I was at 10.2 for the longest time and recently dropped to about 9.7. I also attribute the drop in mileage to both the colder weather and whatever they are adding to the gasoline for the winter.

Still at 11.3. Of course I have about 150 miles on it over the past 3 months. Just trying to avoid the gasoline additives.

MPG has ticked up to 13.3 @ 27 AMPH. A little of that incrase has to come from the 27 AMPH but I'm surprised. That's a 1.5 mpg increase. Gee, at this rate I might get my money back in 24K rather than 25K miles!

Sort of final report. After 3 tanks of gas the mileage has settled down to 12.7 MPG. That's a .9 MPG increase.

Thanks yetti , i got to spend some time in there playing with the buttons. I just never figure things out like that. I get amazed at my friends that can enter phone #'s into there cell phone , or figure out their cd player. It just seems that about the time i figure i'll spend some time learning how to use something , i usually lose or break it and need to buy a new whatever it is and learn all over.

Drove from PDX to Northern CA taking the I-5 to 58 to 97 route. Average on the way down was 12.1. On the way back... drum roll please... 14.5. But I drove like I was Driving Miss Daisy(60-70). No racing(and killing) every one(except those that would obviously kill me) that wanted to pass me. It's amazing some of the scenery and stuff that I've been missing when "racing".

Did they change the DIC on the O5 Models, when I cycle through my lower left button, I get Avg MPH only, no inst mph. I had this on my 03 Escalade, I figured they didn't put this on H2 becuase it was poor. I also have Engine hours, do we know why they added this?

They actually did you a favor by eliminating that feature. Why punish yourself by looking at the instant fuel figures.

Oh, I'm so already there. Maybe Sunset Shannon can help me out. At least temporarily.

I went down to Los Angeles through the I-5 from the Bay Area, I was driving 70 and getting 8.2 mpg. On the way back I was doing 80 and it went down to 6.1 mpg. The 395 miles one way back cost me $158 @$2.45 a premium gallon-ouch. Got to love the supercharger.
Can't wait for the norcalhummergroup happening at Truckee next weekend.
