Hey Everybody,
What do you think , any thoughts you might wanna share ? Is it better to use the AUX LINE IN MODULES or the FM Modulator to have your audio broadcasted and received through your stereo ?
Regards,

I'm using an older PAC device for audio in. I tried the FM modulators with an Ipod and the sound quality difference is dramatic. No question in my opinion go with a aux line input rather than FM Mod.

One word - FM Modulators are rubbish unless you don;t care about the quality of sound being transmitted. I don;t care how inexpensive they are, just not worth the aggrevation. And they are near impossible to fine-tune in a large metro area.

Is there a way to connect directly to the GM stereo without buying a 3rdparty "line in module." I.e. are there terminals that a reasonably bright person can hook up to on their own?

I have a pac audio unit in my 05 and it works pretty good, excellent sound quality. One problem I have is sometimes it stops working and the radio displays say's CDX errror. Pac is aware of this issue and they are sending me an updated unit without the bug.

OK... I am obviously "technologically challenged" here, but am STILL having "radio issues"!
The FM modulators... is that why my Raody2 satellite receiver sucks in my truck -- since it goes through an "unused FM signal"?
As far as using the aux. input -- I assume that there is some sort of satellite radio receiver that you CAN hard-wire to the aux input? Any ideas???
I am SO frustrated with my FM reception -- just got it BACK out of the shop, AGAIN! They replaced the antenna and coax. but it is still horrible reception -- sound quality fades quite a bit.
Help...
(KustomZee -- I didn't mean to jump in on your thread... just thought MAYBE this was a similar issue to what I am trying to resolve!)
