Hi all... I just picked up my H2 on thursday and I have a few questions. Hopefully you guys can help. I see the in dash bose unit has an "aux" button... where would i find the input for that? I'd like to hook up my XM through it instead of FM modulated. Also... is there an easy solution to add a sub? The bose system sounds fine for the most part, I'd like just a little more low end, but I don't want to mess with the stock system too much. Thanks for any info.

By the way, these H2's are awesome!

I have read on this board that there is no aux input in the back of the stereo despite the aux button. I have not actually pulled it out to find out myself. I went with a fm modulated Alpine. Sound quality not great but good enough for sportstalk and Phil Hendrie. There are several companies that make interfaces for factory stereos...blitzsafe.com and pie.net are two that come to mind.

There are no inputs on the back of the factory unit. My brother just bought a Z-71 Tahoe and it looks to be the same radio just different features such as his has a factory XM Tuner.

Their is a company called PAC and they are currently working on an interface to add Aux inputs but it is not ready yet. I have the screens and DVD running through an FM modulator and am waiting to change it.

This is the reply from my email.

Unfortunately, you do not meet the requirements as of now. However, we
will be working on a "stand alone" in a few months.

Thanks,

Robert Wilson
Vice President of Sales
Pacific Accessory Corporation

The website is www.go2pac.com My wholsaler will alert me when the new product arrives..THE NEW GM-12 UNIT WILL NOT WORK.

Hope this helps.
