I just this weekend bought my first Hummer SUT. What a vehicle ! fish competitively and tow a 21 ft Gambler bass boat. I need to get a backup camera and wanted to know what everyone recommends. I need something that can be easily uninstalled , and can be installed in my next hummer. Yes, I am hooked. Do they make any wireless cameras?
My second question is how long of a drawbar would you recommend for towing. The spare tire sticks out quite a ways, and I am concerned about damage to the vehicle and boat/trailer in any tight maneuvers and potential jackknife situations. I often get in some tight situations with ramps, and even backing in my garage around cars parked in front of my house. The neighbors using the playground in our neighborhood create quite the obstacles for me sometimes. I was thinking 12 inches long with a 4, or 6 inch drop. However, I found a 16 inch one as well. It is class III and rated for 6,000 lbs, 800lb tongue weight. I would appreciate any advice, or opinions too. I haven't measured yet, but I think that 12 inches may be to short.

TX ... thanks.... I read those ,and helped a little . There was a lot of nonsense in the how much drop thread. I am just going to start with a 16 inch draw bar and a 6 inch drop and go from there. I do not really want to go the extension route, I think 24 inch will be to long. If I have to go that long I am just going to remove the spare tire.
Thanks again.

Where did you find the 16"? I think mine is 14" and it was the most I could find at the time (2.5 years ago). An extra 2" in length would be helpful.
Also, mine is an Alumastinger which has a pretty high weight capacity.
