What are you trying to say? Do you think an H3 is comparable to a Tahoe?

I owned a Tahoe and loved it. But the H3 is awesome, and shorter.

We've got a Yukon Denali. It's much larger than our H3. The specs are on the mfg. websites. The H3 is way more traffic friendly except for the rear view. I can't even SEE small cars behind me! Backing out of a parking place takes diligence and a slow go pedal because it's very dangerous. We may get a hitch camera.

Nah, just need a back-up camera! (especially fun to watch while driving down the highway) Which, by the way is an option on the soon to be released GMT900 Tahoe...
No, I do agree with you. Can't see shinola out the back window. Rear camera was a must for the H3.

Yea backing up is best done carefully, visibility out the back is limited. Next week (11/18) I'm having the dealer install the hitchcam with 3.5" monitor. I'll post how well it works later.

Dealer recommends H3 mounting of 3.5" monitor in lower left corner of windshield. I took a look at the sightlines and I agreed for this vehicle that is the best spot. Other option is up near rear view mirror but that's kind of annoying.

HitchCam is coming out with a new system in a couple of months that plays through the rearview mirror (it looks OEM) for those of you who can wait.

Will the HitchCam new system rearview mirror version retain ONSTAR, compass and outside temperature features?
thanks,

Don't buy a HitchCam....not because its a bad product...but because it's nothing new. This company just buys parts elsewhere, jacks up the prices, then sells it to you with creative marketing. I saw, take a look at what their "system" includes...then go out and buy it piece by piece. I'm guessing you'll save 40-50%
I had a rearview camera in my old car...cost me a total of $200 including all wires, etc.
