Today after I started my H3 and was pulling out of my office parking lot to go to lunch, I heard some beeps and noticed the ABS, traction control and brake warning lights on. The flashing message indicated that they had failed and/or needed servicing. I was slowly moving at the time and when I tried to apply my brakes, I had to push the pedal all the way down to the floor just to get the vehicle to slow down a little. It took a long distance to eventually stop. OnStar confirmed the problem. I now have to get it towed to the dealership. The service manager says that this is his first brake problem on an H3.
What's discouraging is that I only have about 900 miles on my H3!!
Has anyone else had a similar problem?

All this electronic junk is prone to issues. I was pulling out of the driveway last week and got a "traction control failure" message. I stopped, turned off the vehicle, starting it again, and message was gone. I am getting tire pressure low messages about once a week, and the message goes away after about 15min of driving.
We are all the guniea pigs for GMs electronic junk in a first year model.

On the tire pressure, as you drive and your tires heat up, the tire pressure goes up also. It's real common in the fall when temps start droping over night to have low enough tire pressure to trip the sensors in the morning then be fine the rest of the day. I'd try running your tires a few PSI higher and see if that helps.

Hmmm, I'm 2 miles away from 800.
And yours happened at 900.
I'll keep my eyes peeled.

The TPM message always occurs on my way home from work when the H3 has been sitting in the parking lot all day. I checked the pressure on all my tires the first time it happened and they were all set correctly.

Here is an update on my brake problem:
My salesman came out to bring an H3 loaner. The tow truck had not yet arrived. I had him start/drive my truck so that he could confirm my problem. The warning lights/messages were still showing, but the brakes worked OK. After a few minutes, the warning lights/messages turned off. He drove my H3 back to the dealership service shop without incident. They will not be able to check it until tomorrow.
I hope it is just an electrical malfunction which can be fixed. The bigger problem for me was the fact that my brakes just did not work (at least temporarily). If this happened while I was driving, it could be really dangerous.

Same thing happened to me after only 4 days. When driving the stab trac/brake failure light come on. When I called OnStar to do the diagnostic they said that the brakes were failing so off to the nearest dealer I go. Brakes never felt weird or anything. Found out that an ABS sensor had failed causing the light. Replaced the failed sensor and all is good.

When the ABS/Traction Control/Stabilatrak system fails, the system lets you know, but the brakes should still work. The ABS system only takes affect if there is a need.
Had this total failure on my Vette and drove it for a week while waiting for parts. Usually, most people seldom need the ABS or traction control system.

Update on brake failure:
I was told today by the dealership service department that I need to replace the brake booster.
Has anyone else had this problem, especially with an H3 under 1,000 miles?
