Alec,
We're all very anxious to see the photos from Left Hand Canyon! I can't get mine downloaded for more than a week still. PLEASE send us what you've got.

Sandra:
Thanks, I like the construction of the rack. No qualms about it holding a load of camping gear for my family.
I don't know if I'll add lights - they look great, but I'd only do it if I plan to start wheeling at night.

I wanted to ask about the cables but frankly felt stupid. I figured everyone knew and I'd feel dumb.
That is a great color on your Rover Muddy. I see now what an apt name you picked.

To fend off tree branches. The branches hit the cables, and slide up and over the truck.
Pretty clever, eh?
Plus they look cool and give it that Camel Trophy look.

Looks good, Muddy. Are those Interco Truxxus tires?
If so, how do you like them? I've heard the sidewalls arte a bit weak. Is that why you carry two spares?

good eye Mike97ZJ they are the trxus's. The one on top is an old mud roverto stop the whistleing of my rack. They are great mud / on road tires. Coming from swamper sx's the off road ability mostly in mud went down some but their own road manners more than compensated for it. The sidewalls are tougher than all m/t tires [i.e. bfg , dunlop, wrangler] but not as tough of course as super swamper or denman, etc.
they have done what i've asked them to do though, i've only been offroad once though in the week that i've had them.
kelley thats not a dumb question, how do you think that i found out about them.
there is no such thing as a dumb question, just a dumb answer.

Muddyrover:
Very sweet Disco! My favorite color on them is Green and the black wheels look great.
Did you alter the suspension (e.g. add leafs) or simply remove the steps to get the higher and cleaner profile?
