My skid plate and stock undercarriage cage are toast after that last Moab run.

What is the concensus on the best replacement/upgrade? I've hear the Rubber Duck option "has problems". So, what should I get?

You could tack those rib bones under there.

I was thinking about getting a custom skid plate with a picture of your nostril on it, but that's not a bad idea.

Yes, but I thought it was just a custom prototype, not for sale. I'd like one of those cause they seem perfect.

Have you CO guys talked with Matt over at Rockware? http://www.rockware.net

I know they do custom fab stuff for Rovers and Yotas. (I used to have some of their suspension components on the D90)

He might be a good resource and they do have a rockcrawling focus. It seems like the potential customer base for H2s is large enough to justify some $ for R&D (on his end).

I'm interested in something better too. My frame rails are not too purty these days.

HAHA! Talk about a misleading thread tittle...

My undercarriage is toast too. I had the guy at the muffler shop bend my tailpipe back into position, and noticed the cross-pipe from the drivers side cat was mashed as well. We tried to bend the cage back down, but we're going to have to take it off to straighten it. Great way to break in a new rig!

I didn't see Adams. Do we have a picture?

Won't anything else just get bent too?

The cage that Adam and Alec have look 10 times beefier than stock cage. It certainly wouldn't bend as easy at the playdoh stock cage.

That sounds like a lot of hassle. I'm sure Tim would be up for it. I'm too busy and lazy.

What problem is there with the RubberDuck UCP? I have it on mine, albeit an H1, and it is VERY heavy duty and well made.

I don't know. That's all I was told so I can't verify it myself.

It bends up in the wrong places and is only slightly beefier than stock. Once bent up, round tubing UCP has weakened and no longer holds it's strength.

All right Alec don't rub it in. Obviously I have been behind the ball for some time now, but I am getting very close to start filling your order as well as others that have been waiting. I have been laying low and trying to get everything lined up so I don't have to make others suffer as you, Adam, and a few others have. When I get back in the game I will have the complete front skid, mid rails, and rock rails, front and rear bumpers, and roof racks, along with a couple of other neat items I have been toying with.

The stock UCP may be tubing, but the RD product is solid bar stock and doesn't bend very easily if at all.
