I was just suprised on a few things.
Water depth for one thing...

I'm surprised the H3 can go 4" deeper for water fording.

I pretty much figured on everything else. The water depth was the biggest shocker to me. I agree an H2 could go deeper...but could an H3 go deeper...what is the story?

I figured they could go deeper, and it is more or less a CYA on GM and AM-G's bum.
I have seen people put snorkels on their trucks...they think they can go though anything with one. So not true!
You're probably right about the o2 sensor being the cut off.
I personally do not like crossing deep ass water! Deep ass is a tech term!

After the Moab experience....I think there should be a stat on how much piss each bumper can take.

I'm surprised that that departure angle is only 1 degree shy of the H1 ALPHA!

Yes, but the Alpha has a massive steel bumper made to take a hit....they would "use up" the departure angle with completely different results

Right. The departure angle on the H1 is only limited on the amount I want to drag the back end. I actually went down one trail where the back wheels did not touch the ground until the the trailer hitch slid off the rock.

So potentially the least important off-roading stat stood out?? (BTW, I don't know anybody that has had a problem going MUCH deeper in an H2, the rating is very conservative)
What about the totally crappy departure angle stat even with the 33" tires.... ...or the fact that a vehicle so much shorter than an H2 and an H1 still has the worst breakover of the three....
S </div></BLOCKQUOTE>
Does the H3 hurt you so much?
Sometimes you sound like a few H1 owners (and very few I might add, most H1 owners are cool) when the H2 came out...
Too bad we don't have a crying emoticon.

Actually, I like the H3, I have considered buying one...buuuuut, until some of the whiny ass owners tackle some real trails, they need to stop boasting about it's capabilities....does it bother you so much that people might think you bought the lesser Hummer??
Seriously, I got no problem with the H3 other than GM missed a golden opportunity to build something that would have no question marks surrounding it's capabilities...and of course they didn't get it right....
As far as the stats on the H3, they suck for that sized vehicle with 33's (of course the H2's aren't great for a vehicle on 35's either). That isn't a question, that's a fact.

Meh, life goes on.
