I ordered my H3 in June and my dealer gave me a build date of 6/27 and delivery date of 7/11. My H3 has still not arived as of 7/15/05 at the dealer. When did the factory vacation begin and end? My dealer seems clueless on the delay or when it will be delivered.

If yours was built around the end of the last week and there was issues with it, that could of held it up.

Yes. Call the Hummer toll free number and give them your order number and cust service will tell you details on build date etc. My build date was 6/27. It was completed on 6/29. My dealer said it should arrive here in St. Pete in next few days.

Thanks Hummer Novice, I called the Hummer customer service line like you suggested and I was very pleased and impressed on the level of service and information I was given on my Hummer order. The H3 has left the factory on the 14th and is on it's way to the dealership. They even called the dealership to let them know
they were tracking it for me. I think the saleperson was a little ashamed that they had been called by the Hummer customer service to provide them information that they could have gotten with a little effort on there part.

Right On!! Customer service has been great informing me when my Black H3 was being built and shipped. I even told the dealer about the 2 week shutdown in July and they were clueless. I pickup my H3 TODAY @ 2:00 PM. Can't wait!!!!!!!

Post some pictures when you get it home, and thanks again for the advice. I hope the rest of my dealer experence will be positive. The customer service rep. said to call him and let him know if I have any further problems with the dealership and he wants to register my H3 with Hummer himself. What a Great Customer Service experence !!!

They all should know about the shutdown. All of GM, Ford and Chrystler is in their contracts for the shutdown. There are instances where there is not a shutdown, but that is a very small number of plants.
