I started to get a creaking noise as i move slow with the wheels turned...any ideas?

really wish the search option worked right now

Andre, could you be a little more specific? Front, rear, driver's side or passenger's side? It may help.

Since it's not a "popping" sound it could be a bushing in the suspension. Maybe sway bar. Some lubricant should ease the sound on any rubber piece it's coming from.

Check and see how tight your under carrage protection is. I hear if it is slighly loose you will get that too.

Comming form the front, just started doing it. does it when the wheel is turned all the way in one direction..it's pretty loud. it sounds like something is binding.

the truck is all original, has never been in the shop for anything besides oil chnages. dealer is 6 hours away and just thought maybe it was something simple but i guess a road trip is in order and get the whole truck looked over.

Creaking may not necessarily be normal. If you have a noticeable creek coming when you feel the suspension raise and lower, like while slowly driving over a speed bump, and the sound is coming from the middle or middle front of truck, inspect the mounting nuts of the lower control arm, especially the lh side. I've seen many come a little loose, and the first sign is usually that creek.
