I bought an '03 H2 Adventure Series new. Had it into the dealer half a dozen times under warrenty since it was new for problems with the auto air suspension. The piece of crap is again malfunctioning. I would like to remove the air suspension control module and go with manual switches. Does anyone have a diagnostic flow chart for the air suspension control module?

I don't recall off the top of my head, which fuse feeds the air suspension. I thought about puting in a manual cut-out switch until I rised the clearance in my garage. If you look in the fuse bloc legend or owners manual, it should be pretty clear. In the meantime, I will check the repair manual.

It's shown in the owner's manual as being in the power distribution box undrt the hood, drivers side, near the firewall. Just cut the fused leg and install a switch to the 2 ends.

IMPORTANT: Test this first by removing the fuse. Make sure this doesn't set off warning/error codes. That would create more problems than it solves.

That's one of thte reasons I chose not to get the air susp on my 05. My 03 had been in the shop at least 5 or 6 times for air susp issues and they blew out once because of the sensor issue. good luck. If you get sick of it, you could always put the springs in. I thought someone did this a hile back, but cannot remember who. ??
Good luck.

Sure Tim, and I know you are not the only one who has had problems with the air suspension system. Personally, I had one incident only since 2003. The system began lifting itself without being turned on at the switch. I got an error message saying "service air suspension." I turned off the motor and restarted it. I haven't had a problem since. And I love the internal compressor for airing-up after off-roading. I used it just last weekend.
