Ok, my brother in law bought an 04 nav unit from an h2 for his 03 tahoe. he does have the bose system. he took it to the dealership to install and they did, only one problem, no sound at all. he bought the nav unit from someone on here and it came with the bose amp. he didn't have the new amp installed with the system. do you think this could be the problem???? or any other ideas? any help would be appreciated. thanks guys.

Sounds like a lux / premium mismatch. The nav unit and the amp both have to be lux, or both have to be premium.

To swap amps you will have to change some of the wiring at the amp connectors.
