I had the exact same problem on my 05 and the dealer fixed it on the warranty, they said it was a sunroof seal leak and it took them a couple days to fix it.

Re: water leak
I had a water problem - mine was the doors, where the wire harness from the frame goes into the doors. Some people have had the sun roof drains, and the marker lights, I did everything else to find it was the door grommets.

Re: water leak
It could also be leaking from the cab (corner marker)light above the driver. This is very common (especially with roof lights or other roof accessories wired through there. Remove the light and inspect the black rubber gromet with the wires running through it in the body for integrity and placement. If necessary, seal with your favorite goo (eg). When this gromet leaks, water runs down your A pillar and collects on the floor.

Re: water leak
I had a similar leak only mine was on the passenger side. Attached is an article written by Jim Armour, son of the famous one, who worked on my H2 for quite a while trying to find the leak. The article was taken from the Ultimate Hummers Magazine, Fall of 2005 issue. Hope it helps..Da BRUTE

Re: water leak
Well, today I found at least one leak! The upper front door sill/rubber weather strip that attaches to the body and runs water down the A-pillar was loose allowing all that water to run down from the roof into the inner door seal, and then leaked into the sill/carpet area! The spot was at the top front, there appeared to be some type of black sponge like material that had come apart and allowed all that water to come down. Hope this may help someone else out!
