<BLOCKQUOTE class="ip-ubbcode-quote"><div class="ip-ubbcode-quote-title">quote:</div><div class="ip-ubbcode-quote-content">and said Roberts favored cutting spending to boost cash flow. </div></BLOCKQUOTE>
Age old concern for growing businesses. Do we cut spending or do we need to spend more to make more? Tough call. XM will survive though. They are systematically crushing the fm stations and AM will follow. The only reason I wish that I also had Sirius is because they have the NFL games on there. Other than that I am very happy with XM.
Dose anyone know if there is a way to get both XM and Sirius on the ssme Radio installed on my H3? I would double up if possible.

That would be like getting Dish TV and Direct TV at the same time. I don't think that's do able. You would have to have two dishes and and two boxes. You would have to do some sort of aftermarket deal.
XM has the best Country Choices
Sirius has better Rock.

I have read there are Sirius kits to replace the XM module on the H3. Therefore, I see no reason why you could not do some sort of switch box setup that would allow both to be installed, and with a flip of a switch, go between the two.
But, I can't say for sure.

I'd be interested in finding out more info about switching to sirius. when my free intro period runs out, I will be looking to get sirius. it would be nice if I didn't have to do a major overhaul.

I prefer XM. Have Sirius on my charger, but miss foxnews and the comedy channels are better on XM.

I actually wish the H3 came with Sirius rather than XM for one reason - you can actually get XM integrated with a GPS unit such as the Garmin Street Pilot 2730 without having to replace your head unit. You can basically let the GPS sit on your dashboard and you get XM too. I'm not a fan of switching out head units so this would actually allow you to have both Sirius and XM. The way it is now, the only way I can get Sirius is to add an aftermarket radio specifically for that purpose. It would be much nicer to already have Sirius from the factory and then add a sweet GPS with integrated XM. I understand there must be an agreement in place that requires GM to go with XM, but it would be nice to at least have a choice.

They have Foxnews on XM, Sirius needs to bring back the Folk Channel, like on XM, as part of their country package.

I have heard, but never confirmed, that the sound quality of XM is better than Sirius. Anyone know for sure?

You can add Sirius to the existing head unit with an adapter. Obviously there is still cost associated with buying the Sirius tuner and adapter, but it's cheaper than buying a whole new head unit. There are some threads on the subject if you do a search.
