Have a 2007 H3 as a loner ....
Ok, I've scrutinized the differences between the '06 and '07 H3. My H3 is at the dealer (again), but this time a different dealer. They gave me an '07 .. YELLOW. LOL .. wow, I know some you have the yellow and love it, but I feel like a moving target. Plus, it obviously gets more attention, especially on a sunny day. I like it .. but I really like my black. Anyways, the additional HP does make a difference, especially for me living on a hill. I could definitely feel the extra power, even though it sounds like so little. The brake and gas pedal HAVE to be closer on the '07 than on the '06. I'll have to measure them, unless it has already been established here that the '07 pedals are closer together. I had forgotten about that until I went to brake. My foot rubbed the brake pedal and I thought, WT??????? I don't think it's psychological. I'll try to remember to measure the distance before I turn it back in this week. Also, there is a little added open compartment, like for coins, right in front of the gear shift. On the '06, there's nothing there. Insignificant, though, because it's so small. The rearview mirror has a sensor on it, right in the top center. I suspect it's a sensor to adjust the mirror for bright lights coming from vehicles from behind. I'll check the manual later. Also, the seat belt height adjuster (front seats) .. now there is a thumb imprint making it easier to press the level to high or low. In the '06, it's flat and you press it in. Lastly .. this is REALLY scrutinizing ..lol .. the rubber rear cup holders have a slight lip at one bottom edge. I guess maybe they were coming out when you pulled out a tight cup/can in the '06's? Oh, and the side air bags .. which aren't in mine because mine was a pre-August build. So, to me, the only significant changes are the slight increase in HP (which I noticed on the freeway and driving uphill) .. and the brake/gas pedal being closer (which I DON'T like ... seems like an accident waiting to happen). To someone not scrutinizing, they wouldn't notice any difference.

The 06s have automatically dimming rear view mirrors too, well at least mine does. Theres a light sensor on the front of the mirror and on the back of it, it compares the two to determine a difference, and if needed dim the mirror.
however on mine the sensor is not in the top center, its next to the left green light on the reaar view mirror.
I thought this was standard on all H3, along with the onstar rear view mirror? Isnt it?
P.S. i gota get one of those hummer taser gun thing!!

LOL ... that's exactly what I was going to ask! The door pockets are wide enough to hold about one page of newspaper, folded into fourths.

Re: Have a 2007 H3 as a loner ....
the worst part about the yellow is birds think it's a big flower/target and sh*t all over it. Had a yellow vette too, same thing. I've never seen vehicles so targeted by birds, yellow that is
