Default front mount hitch receiver for winch

I thought this might be a winch mount option:
http://www.hiddenhitch.com/ search "65047" (part number)

but if you look at the pdf for the installation...
http://www.hiddenhitch.com/fitguides/pdf/N65047.pdf
it mounts way too low to be of any use off road
It could be modified (turned upsidedown and a hole cut thru the front lower grille) who knows?

I just wanted to open a discussion on a front receiver and porta-winch for the H3.

One small problem in the rear is the spare tire being in the way of a hitch mounted winch back there
(I hate problems in the rear)

Default Re: front mount hitch receiver for winch

The radiator henders any high front receiver options - if you installed or welded anything - about the highest it could go is the license plate.
