leather issue
leather issue
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Any suggestions on how to clean the light cashmire leather? The left side of the drivers seat is looking dirty and worn at 3000 miles. I have read that other people are having the same problem. I have used miguires leather wipes on the seats, I tried miguires leather cleaner/conditioner on the dark stained areas but it does nothing. Guy at auto parts store suggested a leather cleaner for coats/shoes...help?

Can't help you on the cleaning but I offer a helpful hint. This has worked for me many years and it works.
Before exiting the vehicle move the seat all the way back and of course reposition upon entering.
This will reduce pressure rubbing which will reduce ware and dirt impregnation into the leather or frabric.

Re: leather issue
Absolutely, positively, do not use products made for shoes or other leather items on automobile seats. Consult your dealer's detail shop for specific recommendations. It's easier than one might believe to permanently ruin your leather.

Re: leather issue
Try Griot's Garage on line. If it doesn't work, you get your money back.
