Default Head Liner rattle

Has any one had a rattle in their head liner? Mine is right over my head, just a soft rattle like there is a cable rattling between the head liner and the roof. When the dealer had it in last week fixing the roof rails they claim they dropped the liner and wrapped some more felt around a cable that was rattling loose.

Of course it was only the first trip in for the problem and it seems to take at least three to fix anything. It took two trips just to replace the recalled jack. It is a shame, they come and pick it up in a prompt manner, return it clean, just hate they do not get it right the first time.

OMG, yea that has been driving me crazy for the past 2 weeks. Seemed to start rattling once temperatures droped. Sounds like somewhere near the dome light. If you find the problem and fix please post. I will give to my dealer next week but im not holding my breath, its probly gona take some time to fix.

Mine is in the dealer for that same reason. Its been at the dealer for a week now. Was a rattle right above the drivers head. No response yet, but it did sound like a wire rattling.

There are some wires that run right above the driver's head on top of the headliner. I do know the Ontar Mic wiring is noted to come loose and rattle around.
If the dealer is a long way off, or if you are like me, you hate going in for service, you can remove the A-pillar molding (one screw to remove, then pull the molding back and out), and slightly lower the headliner (don't bend it), you can apply some tape to the Mic wiring harness and this stops the rattle.
