How does it do with the 265 stock tires? Any advice out there?

Go down to 20 psi and work down from there if needed. Be sure you have a pump or some way to air up before hitting the hwy.

Granted I have been beach wheeling for over 16 years now so I have plenty of Experience (Experience = Getting stuck in every possible way).
The Key is to keep moving and go easy. Slow & Steady
If you think you may be in a situation where you will be making a sharp turn, Air Down.
If you think you may be behind some goober in a Liberty with stock tires, Air Down.
Good Luck and remember to bring a shovel, board, and a heavy blanket (for traction) and good tow rope cant hurt either.
ITS HERE!!!!
The picture is when I had the 265 tires, I had to deflate down to 10 PSI to really get a grip, but in your case 14-15 is ok. I now have installed 285s. the 265s did ok if you are a frequent offroader but if you go on soft sand more often (every week like me) than the 285 are much more better.
SledgeHummer
in all my years only stuck twice, once i used a hi-lift jack, with a 2'x2' foot board to jack up the front and back of the jeep and push it out. toward the side, of a pit (this was my mistake, i actually came to a stop so I could photograph paul bunyan's potty ), second time was this july, and a guy driving a black h3, pulled me out.
