Mirror Temp Gauge Off 10 to 15 degrees
Any clues on resetting the temp gauge on the H3. Recently it reads 10 to 15 degrees below actual outside temps. Have tried cycling on off. Back and forth from celcius/farenhieght scale. On Star says take it to the dealer. They are a long trip and this is not a show stopper problem for me... However looking for advice on how to fix!

Have same problem. It reads about 10 degrees to high. Figured it might be beacause of where sensor is located (which I have no idea where that would be).

Re: Mirror Temp Gauge Off 10 to 15 degrees
Trip
My book says the temp sensor is near the centerline behind the grill. In front of the radiator. Could not find it to see if it was compromised in some way. Since my H3 is garaged most of the time. My sensor may not be getting that cold. However if it is right out in front of radiator it should not take long to catch a chill on a cold nite run...

temp guage updates only when the car is moving suposibly. you gotta be going like 20 or something like that. I read it from the mirror manufacturer

I just looked. I don't see it. Prolly have to take off grille. Could be mine is just caked in a couple inches of Paragon mud. Would explain higher temp, but not your lower then norm temps. Wierd.

Re: Mirror Temp Gauge Off 10 to 15 degrees
Just got the big light in the slots to look inside the grill slots. When it warms up going to hose all the stuff out of there and hope for the best. Had it out for a long run in the snow storm today same off read, so it may be a fouled sensor.
