Removing Emblem trim and door handle trim?

The PO of my H3 had installed the those chrome square trim pieces around the emblems and door handles. My question is whats the easiest way to remove that garbage without ruining paint? It looks like it is attached with some padded double sided tape. Chisel?

Hairdryer and dental floss? Just a guess. Thanks all!
