Default Drummond Island, MI July 27,28,29

This will be a good one...The Hummer Club, Inc. has invited us to join them on this trip, and they've agreed to amend membership requirements to get more of us out there wheeling. I'd highly recommend this event to anyone within 500 miles, Drummond Island is beautiful & trails can be extreme.

A Hummer is still required, but a $15 special one-month membership keeps the liability lawyers happy for this one (and amount will be applied to full membership if you decide to join). Registration fee of $100/person covers park admission, 2 dinners, donations & insurance. Hummer X Club & Elcova members should fill out the registration form & mail directly to Rick Grucz of RG Designs, LTD. (the address is at the bottom of the form).

Turtle Ridge Off-Road Park is 4000 acres of backwoods Michigan on Drummond Island, in Lake Huron off the Upper Peninsula, ranging from beaches to rocky ridges & quarries. Trails range from easy to extreme, and the extreme is serious rocks, woods, water & mud not to be taken lightly. Runs will cover all capabilities, if you want an easy drive that will be available. All vehicles go out to the island on a ferry, but there are lots of places to stay, from camping out to resort hotels. Lodging info is also on the form.
