A little duct tape and you are good to go

I have not checked around yet but are there any installation brackets or wiring harnesses availbable for the H3 yet. If not, go to a pro and it there are any problems you just go back to them to fix it.

I went to local radio install place and they told me nothing is out yet for the H3.I also talked to Crutchfield and they told me that they need to get a hold of an H3 to measure everything before kits are available.

A quality local shop can do it for you whether there are kits out or not. I am sure you have seen some pics of H3s with aftermarket head units on here. I have done a whole lot of installs in my past vehicles where there was not kit available for what I wanted to do and it was completely custom. It can be done, it just needs to be done by a quality shop.

True that a good shop can do it and also true about Crutchfield. The car toy dudes said, that the H2 harness will also work with the H3 but there is not a housing out yet for the H3.

Not to sure about this though.

If you take out the factory radio you may want the wiring harness opposed to custom splicing, because this radio will only work with your vehicle. So if you sell the hummer you can put the factory one back in without custom splicing back. The reason is that on the H3's the radios match the VIN of the vehicle. If they don't match they don't work.

007,

Make sure you post pics when you pick it up. What are they doing for power? Are you adding new amps or using the factory amp?

007,

Are they waiting to deliver your H3 back to you until they have it? If that is the case, they never should have started without having everything they needed. Hope you get it back soon.
