3 Wheel Drive?
I was talking to some guy who was going on and on about his Rubicon. (truthfully I kinda tuned him out) He said that his Rubicon could go places that the H3 couldn't because of size, weight and something about the Jeep being true 4 wheel drive while the H3 is really only "3 wheel drive".
Apparently I'm not up on this sort of thing, can someone enlighten me as to wtf he was talking about?

Re: 3 Wheel Drive?
Is the turd refering to the fact we only have rear lockers and traction control up front?
ETON makes a front locker. Easy fix. But we don't really need the "aid"

Re: 3 Wheel Drive?
The Jeep Rubicon has solid axles and front and rear lockers. The new JK has an electronic disconnecting swaybar which realy helps with articulation
Has anyone on this forum put an Eaton locker in the front axle of their H3?

Re: 3 Wheel Drive?
Actually H3's are 8 wheel drives - most of the time they're getting strapped around by H2's.

Re: 3 Wheel Drive?
That guy was correct in stating that the H3 only is driven by three wheels since only the rear has a locker. Having front & rear lockers does have it's advantages. It's usually not an issue since the TC allows for BTM. With that being said, I would not even think about adding a locker to the H3s aluminum front diff!
