We went to Hall's HH tonight and had a great time. It was in celebration of their new building and the arrival of the H3. If you've looked around you know I really like the H3. It's a pretty sweet truck.

Now to the GOOD stuff. I had the pleasure of meeting someone from GM. I'm not going into who she or he may be, but this person was in the know.

We talked for a while.

Should I tell my friends out west to look for the H4 on the Rubicon? "No, there are other's in line" Hummmm

The H3T is a nice looking concept. Again with the "Other vehicles in line" remark.

An H2T sure would be sweet. "Look for that before the others"!!!!! I indicated it was important to mantain the approach and departure angles by not extending the bed, otherwise we could pick up a Toyota. That didn't go over well, but the message was clear.

He also indicated the H line is limited. GM doesn't want to get into the H7, H8, H9 arena.

So here's a quick photochop from Susan of a potential H2T, potentially the next model in the HUMMER line. Looks similar to the CXT. But it's nice, very nice.

Are you watching GM?

Kind of cool, but it needs a winch bumper & rock rails.

I'd definetly buy one of those if it were available! I sure miss the bed of a truck!
This would be the best of both worlds!
Lets keep our fingers crossed!

I'm in support of GM on this whole project.

Ever since I heard about the idea from Susan D. about her wanting a pick-up I thought, "I sure hope my current pick-up will last long enough and the Hummer Pick-Up is comparable in size to the GMC2500's and teh Ford F250's. Hopefully they do base it on the H2. Not much tooling to make it work.

I agree with you Phil. Extended and Quad cabs are the trend right now. I can't see an H2 with 2 seats and a sub-fullsize bed selling. Especially without a diesel option.

Crossing into the utility pickup market would probably be a bad idea. Hummer is supposed to be about fun, not work.
