Dealer wind noise fixes

Did anyone have the dealer correct the wind noise problem? We have it on the 05 SUT and think I read that the issue is usually the "A" pillars. I also thought a read a post that someone had it fixed but it returned.

I'm tempted to just add black RTV along where the plastic trim contacts the glass. I afraid if the dealer is just using double back tape, that here in Florida, with the tremendous heat and humity it wouldn't last.
