Default Trunk Door Strut?

Hi an all,

please sorry for my English

i have a problem to open the "Trunk Door"

opening its very very heavy and not remains open !?

Its this a problem with the Strut?

yes, sounds like the gas has leaked out of the assist struts

Ok , can i use a universal Strut or only the original oem part?

What it?s the part number? (Its so heavy to find the stuff in Italy)

I'd said a univeral whoud work as long as it was within the same specs as stock. As for the part#, one of the SUV guy will have to answer that

You'll need 2 one left and one right.

part # for a 2005 H2 SUV lift gate struts

right hand side 15230039 $23.25
left 15230038 $26.47

prices are quoted from a dealership, so I'm sure they're cheaper if you can just find them online.
