Hey all... I've done some searching, but all I can find is info on marker lights. How about the off-road lights: do these make noise? Looks like the truck we are picking up tomorrow has these on - yey or nay on the noise issues? Thanks!

No, there's no problem with noise. It only affects the marker lights, but NOT the roof mounted offroad lights.

I disagree; I have the off-road (oem) lights and they do make alot of wind noise. I can never hear it because I always have the radio on and when I am on my cell and have the radio off I can hear the noise. Its not all that bad but at all but you can hear it for sure.
Also, another "negative" side effect from the off-road lights is that it creates a turbulant when you have the sun roof open and it causes wind to come into the sunroof when you have it open.
FYI

But I haven't mounted them yet (only put them on the roof for a couple of pics so far ). Thought about having them mounted end of this week... But since I hear your negative comment, I might reconsider this. In Germany, where you are going a lot at relatively high speeds on the Autobahn, this might be a real issue to think about...
I posted this exact question a couple of weeks ago and everybody was going: "Oh, they're allright and do not make any wind noises."
Another thing that scares me away is the drilling which is required to have them mounted.

Well, thats why I posted as I dont want you to be mislead. But in my opinion, the noise isnt bad at all and to be expected no matter what you put up there in that spot will cause the same effect.
I knew I would get some noise and its not too much to bother me at all - like I said I cant hear it with the radio on even at low volume.
What I do not like is the wind that now comes in the sunroof at highway speeds.
