Default DE-BADGING?

Has anyone debadged their H2? I know you heat up emblems with a heat gun and use dental floss etc...but are there placement holes in the door and tailgate?? Anyone know?

i think its just stuck on. If you dont have luck with floss try fishing string.

There are no placement holes in the door. If you get yours off without damaging them, I am looking for a set for a project....let me know.
Thanks, Ron

I am going to retry in the morning. I just tried by spraying Goo Gone on the top of the H2 emblem, tried prying with fishing line. No avail. Since I play guitar, I always have some guitar strings laying around. I know that will work. I will take pics in the morning, Joe.

I would heat em up with a heat gun or hair dryer, I've debadged dozens of vehicles that way.

Came out awesome!
I just used a tiny screw driver and pulled away from the vehicle, from behind the emblem. They came off easily. I wiped off the old adhesive with gas.

I did mine last night. I used a screwdriver as well, and mangled those poor emblems....lol. Looks much better. It's the only clean spot on my H2.

I didn't harm mine at all...a tiny chip in one, thats it. You must be really strong then.

What are you asking for them Bimmer? I could use a set if the price is right.
