10000 lbs superwinch - best way to mount
So, how and where is the best place to mount this? I've seen winches mounted onto flat winch receivers, and then the winch is portable and can be moved easily to both front and back hitch. I like this method, but not sure how strong the pin holding the receiver to hitch is? Can these pins actually withstand the weight on the H2 is it is really stuck and the winch is truly pulling its full 10000 pounds on pressure on the pin?
Ay advice would be appreciated.
Denise, you still around? Haven't heard from you for a while. I want to go wheeling, especially now that I have my new winch.

10000lb winch!!! Thats crazy. Not to sure about the pin? I don't know what material they are made of. Any how I heard cryo frozen metal almost doubles its tensile strength. Let me know if it holds when you pull that dozer out

Don't worry about it. The H2 has a Class 3 receiver which are held by 5/8" dia hitch pins which typically have 30,000 lb rated shear strength capacity. You will stall the winch long before the pin will fail.
What you need to know is that the front receiver on the H2 is not as strong as the rear, as it was not designed for towing (great for launching your boat down a boat ramp). So when using a front mounted multimount winch on an H2, (depending on the situation) it's best to avoid pulling from an extreem sideways angle.
