OrangeCrush is an unknown quantity at this point
Default Okay, I'm pissed....

Today, Jon came to pick up his H2 that we fixed. I parked it outside next to mine and his truck is an inch taller than mine. Are you freakin' kidding me? We've got the same stuff and my bolts are almost bottom'd out.

I believe he's got the Truxx lift on it.

I used the same lift, have the same height tires. The only difference is I've got the Cognito upper control arms which should have no bearing as far as height.

Sooooo, my only choice is to install a lift kit. I didn't want to go through this but I'm thinking the rancho is the way to go for the height I want.

I am a little peeved at myself because I typically measure the height of the tires because I know that some companies (ie. Toyo, Super Swamper) tire height is exactly what they say. Anotherwards, a 35" tall tire truely measures 35" tall.

Anyway, I had installed a set of 35" tall Mickey Thompson MTZ's and today when I measured them, they were only 33" tall.

I should have known better but I completely forgot to check.

So now, not only do I need to buy a lift kit, it looks like I'll be buying a set of 37's to make them 35" tall.

Shiet.

Mark
