Default another air suspension problem

Need some help...i have a service air suspension light on and the truck does sag after a day but the biggest problem is the compressor will turn on and run for 3 or 4 seconds and then turn off and i'm not able to start it again....can't use the inflator or the raise suspension button...nothing works till i shut the truck down and restart it...then the compressor start again and again runs for 3 or 4 second and dies
THANKS

It could be lots of things! It sounds like you probably have a leaking air bag to start with if it's running that long, but it also sounds like your leveling sensor or sensors are bad. This is something that is best handled by a Hummer dealer. They have lots of experience with the air suspension and its problems.

There's a previous thread here somewhere about the fact that if it doesn't sense an improvement in the level with the sensors, it shuts off and locks out the compressor so it won't run and run. HumTech could tell you more about it.

What happens is the system does not detect that the rear suspension is changing height, not raising, at that time it will set a code and disable the suspension system. With a key cycle the code goes into history and that is why the compressor will run again but as soon as the code sets current system is again disabled
