Question Am I too......?

I'm wondering if it's just me or do other 07' H2 SUVs have a slight vibration in the steering wheel, when on the gas around 40-55mph. Almost seems like an exhaust vibration? Don't notice it at slower speeds or highway speeds over 55.
It comes for about 5 seconds and then disappears for about 5 seconds, but keeps looping.....can't feel it on a bumpy road, but on smooth ones you can feel it......definitely not a tire vibration or anything like that....seems more from exhaust or driveline. I know my 08' H2, you definitely feel the exhaust and power of the 6.2 V8, but only when stepping on it......just not sure about the older H2's.
Any info would be great.....! Would love to hear from other 07' owners! TIA

Default Re: Am I too......?

I had a vibration in my '06 SUT at 40 to 65 mph that I could have sworn was a tire balance problem. I took it in for a dynamic balance and they found a thumb sized piece of mud and concrete on the drive shaft I had picked up at a construction site. I'm amazed in all those miles of driving it didn't spin it off. I'd look your driveshafts over before you check the tires and make sure it didn't throw a balance weight. In my experience out of balance tires don't normally become a factor till over 50 mph.
