Just Wanting to Know, What Dealer Adjustments have you had done or planning on having done at the Hummer Dealership?
I am taking mine in at 3000 miles, (have 2k now).
1) Getting Wheel Alignment, steering wheel a few degrees off center while driving on a flat straight road (warranty pays to 7500 miles)
2) Getting Tires Rotated and Balanced, this should be done after wheel alignment, so everthing will be in harmony (warranty pays to 7500 miles)
3) Headlights Aimed, I want to make sure vertical alignment is correct, I have adjusted properly for horizontal alignment (warranty pays to 7500 miles)
4) Hood Alignment, Even G.M. can do better than this (warranty pays)
5) Engine Check and Adjustments if needed, No problems but they run some engine diagnostics on their $40k computer, makes me feel beter, just tell them the engine idles rough at times (warranty pays to 7500 miles)
6) Transmission Check and Adjustments, same as above (warranty pays to 7500 miles)
7) Lube, Oil, and Filter change, also change front and rear differential and transfer case fluids, gets rid of break-in oils and small metallic filings from break-in, really pays off in long term ownership, have them put in synthetics if they have them (you pay for this, should be less than $150)
8) Bring in 2 dozen warm Krispy Kremes, or equivalent, and tell the service advisor to give to the staff that works on your H2. I guarantee this is the best $15 you have ever spent. Your H2 will be given the best service, free detail job, completed when promised and you will be remembered forever and treated like royalty. tedster very good idea with the krispy kremes but why only 7500 miles. i could see the wheel alignment but the other adjustments will only be done up to 7500 miles

The dealer considers these adjustments and not defects, thus no charge to 7500 miles. If in fact a defect requires an adjustment than that is performed under the standard warranty.
However, 3 dozen Krispy Kremes may get you unlimited free adjustments. I have gotten free warranty work done well after the fatory warranty has expired on several vehicles.
