NJH2,
I found the Hitchcam brand to be the best so far. Cleanest looking install inside and out and it is avalable with or without the monitor. I sell them new if you need one but you may want to check the classifide section for a open box unit from Jason at the H2store. I think it is new in the box, the price is very right, its just a returned item. Check it out! BIG-C

TIA,
I have a color Panosonic camera (part of GPS system)on my Bus, the camera has 4 viewing angles and allows me to see clearly and with great detail well over 1/4 mile behind the Bus. The camera is mounted high and I would think you would want any camera to be mounted on the roof for maxium viewing. With mine I can see the ground at the back bumper and everything in the lane right or left of the bus from even with the back of the bus going back 1/4 mile or so. Works great on the bus to see when I can pull back after passing slower traffic. Also it allow me to keep an eye on the Toad (H2) being pulled behind the bus. This color camera works fine in low light .5 lux but cannot see in total darkness, many B&W cameras can. A hitch cam seems like a neat mount, but I doubt you will see past the car that is following you, were as a roof mount should let you see back well past a following car. However if you have a 18 wheeler on your bumper you will not see too far.

My favorite is the one that integrates into your rear view mirror, but since you aren't looking for a monitor, that's a no go.

Circuitguy,
I can't seem to find that open box unit from Jason at the H2store, do you have a link to it?

NJ H2,
It is in the classifieds section of this forum, it has never been installed but the box has been opened. Instead of getting hit with a restocking fee, I figured it best to offer it to you all at the same $$$ that I would have got for returning it.

I use my hitch (for a step) so I looked for an option - I have a Rosen camera mounted on my rear roof point down and out - it gives me a view behind the Beast and into the car behind. It has great angles of vision. I want to get another Rosen for my right side so that I can see the car on the right - potnetial good view into drive side Let me know if you want a picture on this thread.

Looking into puting a back up camera in, with the monitor in the drivers side visor, replacing the mirror. Does anyone have this? Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Circuitguy, do you sell the H Cam, made by Hitchcam specifically made for the H2?
It takes the place of the center marker light on the top back of the H2. I don't need a monitor, just the camera and harness. Here is the info:
