No need for a lift in order to run 37's.
If you're gonna lift it, for a little more, you might as well go with a 6 inch and 38's.

I have a 4'' Rancho lift with 37's. I agree with Ric though: I somewhat wish I had gone a little higher (6 inches max). For the most part though, I'm quite happy with the height.

good luck on Friday, and welcome.
As for the 37's, they are correct, I run 37's without a lift and love the look. I thought about lifting my 03 when I had it. but one trip to Moab and decided to keep that center of gravity lower. if this will be for looks, Socrates has a great set up. From what I here, that lift rides very well for adding height.
you could also add a couple of inches by different torsion keyes up front and bag spacers for the rear. That would get you your two to three inches of lift.

I wondered if you took it off road. I am curious to find out how it handles on the off camber and climbing situations. Still love that look though. ... if only my garage opening were higher...

so is there any 2 inch lifts out there , dont want to go up to 4 inch , if i crankup the torsion bars it would ride stiffer so thats the reason for wanting a lift and that way it will still fit in my garage

I put the Rancho 4" lift on my H2 and I am very happy with the look and ride quality. My friend installed the FAB Tech 6" lift, and his rides very good as well. We measured the two trucks side by side and the Fabtech lift was only 1" higher than the Rancho lift. The tires were both 37's, so it really boils down to preference of manuafacturer.

Tim,
As of yet, no. I'm fairly new to this area and I'm not even sure where to take it, to be quite honest.

Soc...those tires almost look small with that lift! Amazing that the H2 can make 37's look small. Do you need to do any other mods if you lift? Driveshaft? Does a lift give you driveline vibes?

I agree, sometimes they look quite small. Nope, no other modifications had to be done. I know the kit required some light welding, but the dealership took care of everything. No vibration at all, and it rides quite well.

Did any of you guys re-gear?? What was the best price on the lift? The dealer installed it for you?

Discussed regearing a couple of times.. (Eaton was coming out with 5:13). Most of the power loss is evident @ highway speeds > 80mph. Other wise didn't feel necessary. Now I have a 7,000# trailer to pull, thinking about supercharging to compensate..
