Guys/Girls,

SMA just released a pretty slick new product, the H2 Roof Light Bar. It is the same height as the cross bars and comes with four PIAA 2100XT driving lamps.

For further details, visit the H2 Source Online Store:

http://www.h2source.com/201-110-1.htm

Will post a photo here too.

Regards,
Jason

Will there be instructions for installing this lightbar with brush guard lights already installed in trailer brake harness relay?

That was what I was thinking Todd, I knew that they (Extreme) had one similar, but that answered my question...

Heart Surg,

I have been told that full instructions will be included. Was looking to get one myself and not to handy on the electrical side, but told that even the biggest novice could do it in under two hours.

Regards,
Jason

TBarrow - have not been keeping my eye on eBay so much lately, thanks for keeping me on my toes.

No offense but at that price you could get a bar and mount your own lights to it and make if look however you want. That is cool and all, but I think that Extreme was selling it for a lot less, and I am sure according to TBarrow post on the ebay auction that it was about $400... Wonder where the price hike came from??? :?

Umm, $1300 for a light bar is waaaaaaay too much! Chop it in half divide by 3 and we're talkin. Seriously though the days of stick em hard while you can should be over especially with SMA. How about some reasonably priced stuff so us poor H2 owners can actually use them on the trail?

Buckeye,

Just a quick FYI, the $1299 is the MSRP. Actual pricing at the H2 Source store will be shown when the item of choice is added to your cart.

Regards,
Jason

I like it. But here is what I did for about $800 including the bar and installation.

Try market yours too, Doug! To be sold by SMA for at least 1200 bucks...
I like the set up with the original cross bar better than the new "design" bar, which looks too much "after-market".

The extreme tube light bar uses Piaa lights, and the lights alone sell for $300.00 a pair. I looked at the ones for sale on ebay and they started the bid at $400.00 with a reserve price, the price is at 879.00 and still have not hit the reserve price.

I am going to buy the extreme tube light bar because it will not increase the height of my H2 which will allow me to fit in garages. I will also have one more tie down spot for securing stuff on the rack, since I will have 3 bars the distribute stuff on.

I already have the extreme tube steps on my truck and I am extemely happy with their products. The fit and finish is first class.

I think these light bars pictured are good looking. If you park in a garage. They would be the cats ass. I have just never had any luck shining deer with lights that have reflectors the size of a golf ball. Maybe these little lights would give me enough light to change my air filter at night.

Hey Doug, what lights did you use on that light bar that you made, I really like that look and I think that one looks better than that Extreme of SMA bar.. I was going to make something like that and I had talk to TBarrow about mounting lights and running wires.. But I can see that you had the same idea. Also, what distance do you have with those lights and do you like them? Thanks

The lights are Hella FF75's, they are about $110 a pair. The bar I purchases from a fellow H2 Source member for $100. Then I found out I needed a heavy duty PIAA relay to handle all the lights on one switch that set me back another $100. I am very happy with the lights, they definetly are more than you would ever need. Thanks for the compliments, it took a while to figure out the look I wanted. Hope this helps

Doug,

That looks like real living plant material behind your H2! Every time we go out it's like a dust storm in the side of the mountain!

It's mother nature over here on the east coast, I wouldn't mind tracking through some deserts once in a while.
