Does anybody know if its possible to load a mountain bike (upright) into the back of the H3 with the seats down? Similar set up to the Xterra, I would like a front fork bar across the back of the H3 to commute the bike back and forth to the trails. Thanks for any information you can provide.

At the dealership where I've been going they have hummer mountainbikes for sale (they are full size) as well. Call your dealership and see if they have any. You should be able to see, I can't imagine a mountainbike not fitting back there... but I have been fooled before.

A week ago I put the rear seats down and loaded up my mountain bike (with the front tire on). I just put it on its side and it wasn't too much of a pain, but really could only fit one bike. With out the tire on, it should fit if there was a fork bar. I agree it would be nice to have a fork bar, as I have a neighbor that has that with her Xterra and it looks great and easy. I just went out yesterday and bought a Yakima Kingpin 4 hitch mount rack, much easier in my opinion.

no, it will not fit. Because the seats don't go flat all the way, you have to take the seatpost out. Than, it a very tight fit with the ps sd feet moved forward. So, not it won't fit standing up.

Not sure if the door would close.

I think the bike holders that go in the hitch mount is an easy option.
