The passenger side mirror on my 03 was not working properly so I took it in to get serviced. When I got my truck back, the dealership put '06 mirrors on my H2. Wow, they are so much nicer than the 03 mirrors
. i was told that the 03 mirrors are no longer made so they just put on the 06's. Anyone else had this occur with their dealer?

There's been a service bulletin out on this for a while. However, many dealers don't seem to know about it...

Locally, our dealer is using up their stock of the old style mirrors first. I'm waiting until they run out so I can get the new one's.

Yeah, I got the 6yr/100,000 mile warranty on my truck. I am not sure of the cost. Ebay has em for anywhere from 130-200 bucks. Here's an example:
